So, this is your daily car, do you ever get worried?
Yes, the G is my daily driver pre and post widebody. Hmm.. I don’t get worried since I know parts on the car can be fixed, replaced, or repainted. Only thing that scares the jeebus out of me are super steep driveways..haha
Where can we see you rolling?
Hmmm… I do drive a lot so you can my g around LA, OC, and SD area.
What has been your favorite modification?
My Zeal true coilovers suspension…I had a lot of fun testing them out on the twisties such as my recent trip through Oregon for a HIN Seattle event.
So how long have you been showing your car?
Almost a year.. My first show was HIN LA in 2007 late August
You are one dedicated car show competitor, so tell me more about these 15+ hour’s drive adventures.
Dedicated wouldn’t be the word use to describe but more like crazy..haha.. Out of state shows is always bad news for me especially when it comes to speeding tickets. I’ve already accumulated 3 speeding tickets from Austin Nightshift and Seattle HIN events combined. Btw, I will be looking into radar detectors before my next road trip.haha.. Driving 1200+ miles for a show is definitely challenging but going with your close buddies makes it more fun and being a road warrior aint so bad. There is one thing that aided my marathon drive which was
Sugar free Rockstar and gummi bears..haha
What are your future plans for the car?
Hmm…just wait and see
How do you decide what parts go on your car (brand)?
My main emphasis/theme on the project was to incorporate rarity of parts from well known aftermarket tuning companies. Parts that you would see on my G35 would be Endless, Zeal, ARC, Tomei, Powerhouse Amuse, Cosworth and etc…I am really fortunate to have good friends and sponsors to help me source out these rare parts.
Are you staying Natural Aspiration or Force Induction?
I have been contemplating going towards the darkside of FI but there are soo much responsibilities, maintenance, and mainly the fearof a state ref ticket that is delaying my plans of going FI. Cali emissions/carb laws FTL! haha.. If I really wanted to go fast as hell, I’d get a Honda CBR 1000RR
So what do you think of Modelsinthetrunk.com?
Definitely a cool concept and really thinking outside the box and more in the trunk…
The guys @ MITT are definitely cool and the models are Muy Bueno!
Any last word? Thanks? Hates? Sponsor Plug?
