I arrived in las Vegas sometime around Tuesday evening. From my social media feed I could tell that Sema this year would be special. After a nightof partying and the usual up all night shenanigans. I found myself on the shuttle on the way to Sema. As I pulled up I notice that it was HUGE vs last years sema 13! They took part of the parking lot up with vendor area across the street from the north hall. Then as you walk pass that you have part of the Westgate hotel and outside area with cars staged. There were just so many things to see and I didnt have enough time. I had to run to the scion booth to see who would win the scion challenge. I barely made it just to see that the Speedhunters 86 themed Frs had taken 1st. With the Super Street LTMW taking 2nd. There was a bit on controversy on these but I do believe the best car won. The scion challenge at sema each year pushes the limits that car builders can do and stresses them to the point they want to give up. It brings out the creativeness in the little window of time they have to produce the build. After the scion challenge I was already worn out and I called it a day. The next day which was already Thursday I decided to tackle Central and South halls. These halls were so busy and there were so many vendors it was unbelievable. I have been attending sema for about close to 10 years now. And this was probably far best show I have ever been to in a long time. Attendance was huge and so many vendors came out show off their product. I hope this is the beginning of better times happening for Sema and cannot wait for 2015. But enough of my talk let the pictures do the talking.
