Ahoy, – The first Mfest meet of 2015; One of the later big M/// motorhead gatherings on the west coast. Mfest has been around for the past few years; and its not going bye-bye anytime soon. What started out as the love for M cars with a few friends, Chris Naguit; has launched a very popular network of BMW enthusiasts; and it has formed into Mfest today.
Although the peak of the OG Mfest members have moved on, it was great to see a few original faces at this event.
Manu from Aristo Wheels was present, and so was Roland with his Rocket Bunny CLK. Sean Lee from the Purist group made an appearance driving his snazzy 997 Mk1 GT3 RS sitting on some very sweet BBS E88’s and of course Robert Chew and his very stunning NSX by Six Sigma Auto Design was in attendance. Can’t forget about Gregg Gorski from Smokebuddy and his very stealth but fast E60M5. GMG was out in full force with an array of vehicles as well.
Overall a good meet, but it seems as if the new wave of enthusiasts sure do love almost a hack build… Don’t get me wrong, there were a few nicely done vehicles; including a very clean 2002; and slammed 964; But it does seem as if the quality of builds on the rides have been decreasing in this crowd.
